The Hancock County Circuit Clerk’s Office is pleased to announce two upcoming Lawyer in the Library sessions scheduled for May 19 and 28 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Both sessions will be held in the County Board Room at the Hancock County Courthouse in Carthage.
Participants will receive a free 20-minute, one-on-one consultation with a licensed attorney. Attorneys can assist with a variety of legal matters, including basic court forms, general legal questions, and documents such as power of attorney forms. While attorneys can offer guidance during the session, these consultations are intended for brief assistance and direction.
This program is available to residents throughout the 9th Judicial Circuit (Hancock, Henderson, Warren, McDonough, Knox, and Fulton), not just Hancock County, making it an excellent resource for individuals across the region seeking legal guidance.
Due to high demand and limited availability, registration is required. Individuals interested in participating may register online by visiting the Circuit Clerk’s page at the Hancock County website or by calling the office directly.
