Are you unashamed? Farmers understand the importance of planting seeds, taking care of them to the best of our ability and trusting in God for the harvest.
Just as you sow seeds in the soil, now is the time to plant the most important seed of all and that’s the gospel. You’ll never convince me that God isn’t real or that this life is pointless and came from nothing.
I didn’t commit my life to Christ because of church or reading the Bible. God used my grandpa from being a Christ like example and sharing stories about his life and everything God had done for him.
Last week I met with a few friends for breakfast. It was great fellowship and much needed for me. This last month has been amazing even though circumstances haven’t changed much.
I moved three hours south of my farm in 2024 when I got married. I’d been praying that God would connect me with some brothers in Christ down here.
He’s done that just recently and His timing was absolutely perfect for that. He continues to move and connect me with some amazing people. Most of these connections have been made through social media, leaving no other explanation other than God.
He’s laid on our hearts to start a fellowship on the golf course and possibly a men’s group in a farm setting sometime soon. I’ll continue to pray that the Holy Spirit will move like wild fire and take care of every little detail.
If you’ve felt a nudge to do something similar, I’d encourage you to keep praying about that and be obedient. I wouldn’t have survived this past year without the friends and fellowship God has placed in my life. Iron truly does sharpen iron.
He has ignited a fire that will never go out. This world needs Jesus more than ever. As many bad and evil things going on, God is moving at a rapid pace in this generation.
In a world that is increasingly hostile to the truth of Christ, there has never been a more urgent time for Christians to be bold and unashamed in their faith.
No matter how old you are or what your occupation is, God can use you to have an impact for Christ. Often times it’s through being a Christ like example and not even preaching.
This is only done through surrender and letting the Holy Spirit lead the way. More than ever through social media and our cell phones, the gospel can be spread all of over the world at anytime.
This new technology can cause problems and be used for evil, but God can still use it for the good. We need to be bold for Christ in everything that we do.
Luke 9:26 says “For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, of him the Son of Man will be ashamed when He comes in His own glory.”
That’s is a serious call to action. We cannot afford to hide our light, loving others as Christ loves us or hold back from proclaiming His truth.
Every day as you work on the farm, interact with your neighbors, strangers, engage with your community or on social media, you are presented with opportunities to be a witness for Christ.
This isn’t just a call to speak, but to live out the gospel in your actions, integrity and the way you love and serve others.
The world may try to silence you, pressure to compromise or tempt us to conform, but always remember Jesus was not ashamed to go to the cross for you.
He took the weight of your sins and He rose again to offer you eternal life. The least we can do is stand boldly for Him, no matter the cost. The harvest we’re working for is not just of crops, but of souls.
We are called to plant seeds and let God water them to further His Kingdom.
Every time you share the good news, whether through a simple word of encouragement or story of what God has done for you, a bold declaration of truth or by living a life that reflects His love, you are advancing the gospel and drawing others to Christ.
God will speak through us when we allow Him to. So don’t hesitate or hold back. There is no coincidences when it comes to God and nothing is ever wasted.
In a world that desperately needs the light of Christ, let your faith shine boldly and unapologetically.
When you stand for Jesus, He stands with you and the Holy Spirit is there guide you. He has never forsaken you nor will He ever. Surrender everything to Him and let the Holy Spirt guide your entire life.
God loves us so much and wants a relationship with us. Always be courageous, speak the truth in love and trust that God will use your faithfulness to bring about an eternal harvest!
