What are you passing aSpiritual warfare is brutal at times but we don’t have to fear. God has your back and will use everything for the good and His glory.
Ephesians 6:12 says “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”
The battle I’m facing currently isn’t against another person as most would see from a realistic standpoint. It’s pure demonic. While reading the Bible last week. I flipped to multiple pages asking God to speak to me.
Every single one was about Jesus casting out demons. The Holy Spirit lives inside of us and that same power is available to us today. God gave me so much peace through that.
God was making it clear that what I’m up against isn’t something I can fix in my own strength and it’s not something I need to fear either. The same Jesus who cast out demons with authority is still moving today and He hasn’t changed.
An hour after writing what God has laid on my heart last Tuesday, the devil attacked so hard. He is so angry at what God is doing. He’s helping so many people while going through these horrific circumstances.
I’m sure many people can relate. Following Gods will, is going to make the enemy furious. Thankfully Gods got our backs and will continue to fight for us.
The fire I’m going through is so dark and terrible. Gods timing and plans are always perfect though. Even when the enemy strikes.
Two weeks ago, the place where I go to men’s group had a guest speaker and night of worship and prayer.
As soon as I got there, the anxious thoughts and feeling disappeared. I felt Gods love and presence so strongly.
Often times we may not feel anything and that’s when it takes sheer faith to move forward.
God wants us to trust Him, living by faith and not sight. He died for all of us. Even when life knocks us down, God is still so good.
It was an amazing event. Afterwards many people stuck around until about midnight praying and had fellowship.
Several guys were praying for me out loud about the battle I’m facing and my nine year old son came over and put his hand on my shoulder. Talk about watery eyes.
After that he went around and prayed for those who were struggling or needed healing. The Holy Spirit speaks so clearly through my son. God has given Him so many gifts at a young age and His hands are on his life.
He was praying for people, speaking life into them about things he didn’t even know they were going through. Gods already using him to have a huge impact in my life and those around him.
Joel 2:28–29 says “And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days.”
The next day, my son and I were talking and he said he saw guys praying for me and he felt God wanted him to go and pray for others.
My son is so bold in his faith, loving God and people. He doesn’t fear man like most adults do. Even myself at times struggle with wondering what others think and worry about what I say.
The flesh gets in the way instead of letting the spirit lead. God reminded me last weekend to have childlike faith and stop fearing man.
We may have been hurt by other Christian’s in the past and those wounds can take time to heal. Don’t let that affect you moving forward. Ask God to light a fire inside of you.
People and things of this world will always fail us, put your trust in God and don’t let them affect your relationship with Him.
After everything we all go through in life, God is so loving and the transformations he does with our brokenness is nothing short of a miracle.
I talk about my grandpa and my dad having such a huge impact on my life. Now God is using my youngest son to have an even bigger impact on me when I need it the most.
His prayers and the way he lives his life inspires me and grows my faith every single day. It leaves no other explanation other than God.
My wife has played such a crucial role in how he’s turned out already. God has used her to have such a big impact and those seeds will change generations to come. My wife and two sons are the greatest blessings God has given me after salvation. My changed for the better when I got married two years ago and I’ll be forever grateful for that. My nine year old also lights up any room and brings everyone so much joy. That’s how we should looking when we’re living in the spirit. Being the light in this dark world will have eternal impacts.
God has a plan and purpose for every single one of us. Maybe you think you’ve messed up as a father, friend or other things in your life.
Our identity is in Christ alone and nothing is wasted. We’re never too far gone for God to help. He can transform your life today.
It’s never too late to start new with God. The seeds God can plant through you will impact generations to come!
