Are you fully committed to God and living for Him? If not, what are you waiting on? If you are, the enemy will strike more and harder than ever.
It’s all about obedience and not perfection. Jesus was the only perfect person to walk this earth and He died for you and me because of how much He loves us.
My grandpa was a huge inspiration to me by the way he lived. God used him in mighty ways the last few years of his life, to do a complete transformation in mine.
God constantly reminds me that He can work through anyone. No matter how old they are or what their occupation is.
My grandpa was in his late nineties, wondering why God kept him around for so long since he couldn’t work anymore. He was only able to sit in his house and go on walks.
I always told him there was many reasons but God was using him in ways I couldn’t fully comprehend until after he went home to be with the Lord.
Many people today say they believe in God or sit in church on Sundays and that’s about it. Jesus didn’t come so we could just go through religious motions, He came to set us free and bring us into a real relationship with Him.
Thats how my grandpa started out in his younger days. Then God opened his eyes through a miracle.
Many today go back to living for the world the rest of the week. Checking boxes, but don’t have a relationship with God. Most churches and towns are filled with these folks sitting on the fence. God even says the road is narrow.
I’ve been there and I would never want to go back. Life hasn’t gotten any easier, but God has been there every step of the way and always keeps things exciting.
Matthew 6:24 says “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.”
As Christians and especially as farmers it’s easy to slip into routine. We plant seeds in the spring, take care of the crops, harvest in the fall, then repeat the next season.
Sometimes we treat our faith the same way, just another task or box to check off. I’d never want to go back to living that way.
2 Timothy 3:5 says “having a form of godliness but denying its power.”
Faith was never meant to be a social habit or a weekly club. It’s a living, breathing relationship with the God who created heaven and earth.
When we genuinely walk with Him, He begins working in our lives in ways we never imagined.
We need to be people who not only talk the talk but walk it, because the world is watching closely. And we can’t do that on our own.
It’s easy to back down when conversations shift to the supernatural power of God like healing, salvation, miracles or full surrender.
But God is far more powerful, more real and more active than most believers ever experience.
One of the greatest enemies of Jesus isn’t the obvious sins of the world, it’s a hollow religion that lacks real spiritual life. The Holy Spirit is alive and still moving today.
I grew up in church and thought God was just this angry, disappointed thing way up in the sky. Sending me to hell since I couldn’t be perfect.
The devil loves whispering lies to us. It was the farthest thing from the truth, but is still doing the same to the majority.
Revelation 3:16 says “Because you are lukewarm, neither hot nor cold, I am about to spit you out of my mouth.”
Pray that God sets a fire in your soul that never goes out and will open your eyes.
Don’t settle for being lukewarm, passive or just going through the motions. If Jesus isn’t a living reality in your life today, invite Him in as your Lord and Savior.
That decision changed my entire life and I have zero regrets. Get fired up for Jesus. Get connected with other brothers in Christ. God doesn’t want us to walk this road alone.
Have your words or attitude been negative lately, critical or cynical? Ask God to forgive you and renew your mind. Start believing again in His miracle working power.
Ask Him to change your perspective and see things through His eyes.
Jesus said in John 14:14 “You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” God answers prayer.
I’ve seen it firsthand, people healed, demons being casted out, weather patterns shifting in moments of need, equipment suddenly working, crops thriving in conditions they shouldn’t, rain holding off until planting was done.
And even when things don’t go the way I hoped, God always uses it for good and a greater purpose.
Looking back, He has completely turned my life around and there’s no explanation other than His hand at work.
We are sons and daughters of the Most High, that alone should stir something inside of you. Know that God loves you deeply and wants the absolute best for your life.
His plans are always better than our own. Don’t let empty religion build walls between you and the God who wants to move in power.
Embrace the true reality of godliness. Let the Holy Spirit fill you, lead you and transform every part of your daily walk.
Surrender everything and watch the Holy Spirit’s power change your life and everything around you!
