The Heart of Christmas

by Dessa Rodeffer, Publisher

2004 Christmas Book

This Christmas, in light of the war on terrorism in Iraq, and the many American men and women being called away from home to serve our country, we dedicate our 2004 Christmas book to our American soldiers who serve us both at home and abroad. This includes our veterans.

Most have given up one or more family Christmases in order to assure that our homeland will remain safe and our Christmases will continue in peace.

What is it like to be at war, or overseas at Christmas, or stationed in a military base in the states and unable to come home? Some have sent us stories which we have included in this book.

There was never a time that I wasnıt home for Christmas. It is the thing our family looks forward to the most all year. But, if I was unable to be home for some reason, I hope that I could draw from my resources of the many Christmases past and continue to celebrate the Saviorıs birth.

The things that we cherish we will find are safe within our hearts. If we search our hearts, we will find home is there, and with it, the special melody of that holy night in Bethlehem.

May we continue to sing the joyful songs of Christmas,no matter where we roam, and no matter where our travels take usŠ

May your heart be full and overflowing of the true meaning of Christmas.

Grace and peace be unto you this Christmas. We ask a special blessing for those who are serving us in the military, at home and abroad.
