I just received another letter at deadline from a Bettendorf, Iowa woman who asks us to vote for President George W. Bush.

Emily Gilbert writes,

"I was very fortunate to watch the coverage of both Conventions and all of the Debates. I have watched one man give amazing speeches.

"I truly know he will try his hardest to get the jobs done. In the last few minutes of his speech at the republican national convention, I am able to say I truly saw the President's heart. As he recalled the morning of 9/11 and then thanked the men and women in uniform for the sacrifices they and their families are making.

"Also, thanking those soldiers previously and those soldiers who gave it all for our Great Nation. I was able to see truly who George W. Bush really is. As he looked into the camera with tears in his eyes and his chin quivering. Call it what you will, but that right there is true emotion and heartfelt statements. I have never seen such compassion for a nation and it's members.

"I am proud to have a man in office who is not afraid to speak God's name in public, who salutes this countries Veterans and Soldiers, and who will always remember 9/11 and stick to his word, promising to finish what the terrorists started no matter what it takes.

"Before you vote think of who you want in office a man with true compassion for this country or a man who just goes on stage and speaks from paper and not from his heart. Sincerely,
