This Friday, you will see the Union Yankees coming down on Rebel soil to be a member of Southern-Union Football Team. Yanks and Rebels will team up to play football, to cheer, and to be supported by their parents and community. It is an effort that has been a long time coming and perhaps, the preliminary games to what soon could be a consolidation for Union and Southern.

At right, the backfield is ready, left Halfback Darick Clark, Quarterback Adam Corzatt, Fullback Chase Heap, and right Halfback Abe Chockley. Although these Rebels are seasoned football players, soon the Yanks will be moving into positions on the playing field. With 52 players, 12 which are from Union, and 21 cheerleaders and 21 pompon performing, this Friday should be an exciting new beginning. Enjoy the Olde Tyme show, but take time to stop by the football field as history is being made. Good luck team!
