Save your gas and the time it would take to make a long trip away from home.

There is plenty of excitement right here.

It has been exciting keeping up with Todd Hamilton's great adventures that has made him famous around the world. I have been busy putting together a photo and news album of many of Todd's articles since he won the British Open and the Honda Classic, and it is so much fun to read the stories:

The album will be a gift to Hend-Co-Hills Country Club so they can enjoy and share the stories with others.

Bryan Hubbard, Hend-Co Hills manager, has been getting lots of calls. Some have dropped by the club wanting to play on the course that Todd practically grew up on.

After Todd won the Honda Classic, I enjoyed talking to a reporter from Florida that wanted to do a story on the home town reaction. He called Kent and visited with him at his small grocery store and I helped him out by taking Kent's picture for the article.

In return he gave me photos from the Honda Classic of Todd and his wife and mother as he won his first PGA championship.

The story he wrote is included in the album at Hend-Co.

The Fred Gibb Memorial Car Show is another exciting event you should attend if you haven't yet.

There are community fairs at Gladstone, La Harpe, Roseville and Monmouth to name a few. And it is all close to home.
