Hurray For The Fair

Yearly, it is fun to watch the Henderson County Fair Pageant, put on by Sue Lyon and girls at The Antiquity.

This has been a top-notch event in our small community and if you haven't attended one, you are missing a lot of fun and talent.

The fair has always created a lot of good memories for folks in our area and for those who come home to visit.

One thing I am going to miss after this year, is the seniors and their parents providing us with top-notch meals and quick and friendly service.

With the disbanding of the senior trips by the school board after next year, the Fair Board will be forced to seek other options for feeding the troops who come to the fair.

Although I miss the rodeo that was here a couple of years ago, there are still many attractions that always bring in a crowd. Thanks to all who continue to bring us the fair.
