Henderson County dentist, Dr. Paul Good's short life was full to the brim, and those who knew him best said it was because he did everything with passion and compassion.
It suggests that though our life may be short, it can really be a full life, no matter when our heavenly Father calls us home.
How do we live with gusto which means "pleasure in doing things?"
"High achievement always takes place in the framework of High Intention," a friend told me.
If we want to live life with Gusto, we have to see ourselves and everyone else around us as the unique human beings we each are.
We have to see our failures as an opportunity to do better, and each crises as a chance to overcome.
The La Harpe 8th grade Lady Eagles showed "Gusto" as they faced many opponents and ended in the Elite 8 at state this week. Their fans showed the same passion as they backed their team.
Whether work, school, a challenge, a friendship, don't let negative thoughts rob you from enjoying life. Not for one minute. Life is just too short.
