Our Leaders: Thank God We Pick ThemDessa Rodeffer, Quill Publisher-Owner

Maybe we can't pick all of our leaders, but as for our county, our state, and our nation, we, in America, do have a vote in who our leaders will be.
If we don't like any of the candidates, we can get on a soap box ourselves, or encourage someone with good character to run for the position. That is what is so nice about a free nation with free speech.
Not discussing the issues is not good, folks. You might not like controversy, or you might think politics should be decided in the ballot box, but I believe the enemy always loves it when we don't talk, or when we don't get too nosey about what is going on. They may slam you for it, tell you to "keep it off the record," "don't let anyone know" "don't print it."
Those with their own agendas definitely don't want to be questioned. Good leaders welcome discussion and pubic forums. Be glad we can talk about issues. Don't be satisfied with polls or opinions. Look into details and facts. Call up candidates. We've had great U.S. Presidents, but senators, congressmen, voters and the press have questioned their every move. Remember, we pick them, and we send them home.
