Don't Dwell On The Problem

by Dessa Rodeffer, Publisher/Owner

We all do things that we wish we had a chance to do over again. We just seem to see more clearly after a decision has been made and the results have come full circle to embarrass us or affect us in some way.

Don't dwell on the problem or the trouble it has caused you, and don't wallow in self pity or in anger. Instead, admit you made a big mistake and then see what can be done to avoid doing it again.

As smart as we all are, we are all going to do something that will shock the socks off of us. It might be something said in a fit of rage or thoughtlessness when stressed. It might be a poor financial decision, or it might be an accident that could have been avoided if only we had used caution.

Whatever it is, some things we do bring hardships on others. And, some things we do come with a BIG DEBT to pay to someone or to society.

Whatever the problem is, just go ahead and kick yourself once, but then don't keep beating yourself into the ground until you are no use to yourself or to anyone else.

Try to dwell on a solution.

Once we learn something from a mistake, or from a bad choice, we should close that chapter in our life and go on to a brighter and better chapter of our life.

After all, no one is going to want to read chapter after chapter of the same old problems, or a person who just can't get over the dumb things he has done.

We want to read a new and more exciting chapter that never repeats itself.

Our life will grow as a best seller, if we take problems we've encountered and find ways to solve them. It will produce enchanted evenings and greater memories.
