Phantom Of The Opera
A Must See

Have you been wishing you could take a vacation but don't have the time or the money for a week to Disney World or the Keys, or to see New York?

My suggestion is to buy tickets to The Phantom Of The Opera and see the fame musical that has traveled around the world now for 14 years.

We are fortunate to have The Peoria Civic Center/Theater and this New York production within such easy driving distance

My husband and I attended Friday and were very comfortable in the 12th row, right in the middle of a row of 50 seats.

We both enjoyed the costumes, the talent, and the surprises and the haunting yet wonderful character - The Phantom.

At the beginning - an auction is taking place of the Old Paris Opera House but when they get to the huge elaborate chandelier covered with canvas, it begins to dance and shake and then I screamed when an explosion and fire made it dance even more as it came to life and was lifted to the top of the theater.

It was a very good attention-getter, Mike can attest, and another reason I suggest sitting no closer than in row L or the 12th row.

Although older children could go and may stay awake through the 2 1/2 hour performance, I would suggest leaving the kids at home and make it a couple's night out to witness a fabulous production you will not forget.
