Forever
Young

It's in the joints.... and some say it's their back or their knees, and others blame it on the weather. This time of year is just not very good for arthritis sufferers I was told.
Those old poems our parents read and we laughed about aren't so funny as we hit that age of aches and pains.
All the TV advertisements are starting to come back to me. Remember the woman who could not play the piano or enjoy her grandchildren until she started taking Bayer Aspirin?
There's got to be something better to talk about than our aches and pains and our problems.
I envy my grandchildren as they laugh, roll on the grass, and try to wrestle and do each other in. I think if we study our children - we can learn a lot about staying forever young.
Laughter, take time for play, stay away from grumps, eat ice cream, run (okay- go on a nice walk), and drop by your friends house or invite them over. Bike rides are nice, attend a youngster's game or go to the movies, have a party, visit residents in the nursing home, go for a drive in the country, have a picnic and take along some kids.
Visit the library or the museum....throw pebbles in a creek, have a wiener roast. Should I mention aerobics? Well how about leg lifts from the recliner? Come on, we can do it!
Hum a merry tune, plan to attend Sunday School. To stay forever young, instead of waking up and saying "Good Grief It's Morning!" thank God for the new morning and ask Him what surprises he has in store for you today... and then look for them.
