It seems there's a lot of walking to scenic "drives."
I found this out after attending Heritage Trails in Henderson County (pictured) and the Spoon River Scenic Drive in New London and Farmington area this past weekend. The fun part is being with your family, seeing the crafts and items made, and talking with people. A lot of patriotic items are selling.
One lady sold all 89 U.S. flags at $1 each, an item she had for 3 years. Before she only sold 3 or 4 a year.
In Henderson County, more focus is put on "heritage," -a nice foundation.
