I can't believe the Rodeo is finally back at the Henderson County 4-H fair this year.
That is one of the things I believe was most talked about the last time it was here. I remember some of the local guys were going to get a chance to ride a bucking bull and my husband was going to volunteer.
Luckily, the day of the rodeo, Michael came down with strep throat, which in my estimation, is the only thing that saved him.
Friday and Saturday the Rodeo begins at the grandstand in Stronghurst at 7:30 p.m.
I guess we will have to attend to see just what kind of action will be taking place. Calf roping and bull riding, I hope, by some experts.
If I had a choice between Bunji jumping, sky diving, and bull riding, however, I think I would stick to the one closest to the ground, even though it probably isn't the safest of the three.
Let's pack the place at the rodeo and encourage those guys on those buckin' broncos to Ride 'em Cowboy!
