The official USA 2024 National 5U Curling Championship will be held in two weeks, with Stronghurst resident Grant Robertson (pictured far right), and others representing Chicago, Minneapolis, San Francisco, Stronghurst, and Atlanta.
The team members are being interviewed by the organizer of the Cincinnati 5 and Under (5U) after winning the Curling Nationals Qualifier Tournament recently. 5U is a unique style of Curling where every member of the team has only been Curling 5 years or less and are 21 years of age or older.
While the number of years a player has been Curling might be “low”, 5U Tournaments are very competitive with former Collegiate Athletes of other sports and many brilliant strategists on the same team.
This Year’s 2024 Nationals will take place in Chaska, Minnesota from April 24–29th and will be James-Grant Robertson’s 4th time representing the Midwest Region.
