Val Holman of Gladstone, traveled to Rome Italy with the Red Hat Society to be in the New Years Day parade and took "The Quill" along. 120 ladies from the Red Hat Society attended from all over the USA, the largest attendees for the New year day parade. Several bands from the USA were there. We had a New Year’s eve party, at our hotel. I met these ladies and made new friendships from Michigan, Colorado, New Hampshire. We also visited the Pantheon, Vatican City and a winery. When you go on a trip, be sure to take The Quill along and have your picture taken with it and send it to us. Let's see where all The Quill can travel.
