The Annual Stronghurst Village Christmas Decorating Contest was held Thursday, December 9th and announced through the Stronghurst Village Facebook page at 9:00 a.m. that morning.
The post announced: " Those wishing to participate in the annual Christmas light contest should make sure their Christmas lights are turned on tonight at 7:00 pm for judging. Any house with lights on will be considered for the contest."
On Friday, December 10th, the winners were announced first thing on their Facebook page:
"So many beautiful Christmas light displays this year it was hard to pick just 3."
The top three winners were:
First place: Tiffany Spiker at North Elizabeth Street who won $100.00.
Second place: Daniel & Morgan Lewis, East North Street who won $50.
Third place: Rick and Larrie Schaley North Morris Street who won $25.00.
