Snow, snow, and more snow! It's March and it seems like we are getting more snow then we did in the winter months! Mother Nature sure is messed up on what month it is!

On a happy note, this is my last week before Spring Break! A whole week of sleeping in and home cooked meals sounds perfect to me.

Spring break is usually a time when students go to Florida, Mexico, or somewhere warm and tropical. I will not be going to the beach, but I will be spending part of my Spring Break with my Uncle Matt, Aunt Katie, and cousin Elijah in Indiana!

Family time is always just as amazing as spending time on the beach! It is always good to visit them when I have time off, since I don't ever get a long break during the semesters.

Aunts, uncles, and cousins are a very important in life. When you are younger it seems that you are always playing with your cousins, or going to visit your aunts and uncles quite regularly. As you get older, you'll find that maybe you don't see them as often, and you don't talk to them as much as usual.

I always look at pictures from years ago when the whole family used to get together for holidays, or summer vacations. I have so many great memories from visiting cousins. I am not going to lie, I have a pretty amazing extended family and try my best to keep in contact with them.

I know it's hard when you have fourteen hundred things to do and you know the rest of your family is just as busy. As children grow up they continue to get involved in activities and school becomes more consuming. Just remember, family is one of the best gifts God has given us and we should not let that slip away.

I don't mean you need to call every single family member you have everyday, but a short "Miss you" text can just brighten anyone's day! Just let your family know you haven't forgot about them. With all the technology there is out there today, it is some-what impossible not to stay in touch!

I hope everyone has a great week and can get past all this snow and look forward to sunny spring days! Hopefully, they are coming soon!
