Illini West High School Building Referendum goes back on the ballot on April 9, 2013. To assist voters with making an informed decision, three community meetings have been planned.
Residents in the Illini West High School District are encouraged to attend one or more of these meetings.
The following schedule outlines dates, times and locations:
Thursday, March 7, 2013 7:30 p.m. Illini West High School gymnasium, Carthage
Monday, March 18, 2013 7:30 p.m. LaHarpe Elementary School gymnasium, LaHarpe
Wednesday, March 20, 2013 7:30 p.m. Dallas City Elementary School gymnasium, Dallas City
Klinger & Associates, architectural firm hired by IWHS Board, will present the architect's rendering for the school building's front elevation, floor plan and site plan. Specific information on safety and security features will be highlighted. Local law enforcement, fire fighters, and emergency personnel have been invited to the presentation on March 7 to provide additional insight as to their roles as first responders in the event of an emergency.
