La Harpe Council Discuss City Business

La Harpe City Council, February 11, 2013

The regularly scheduled monthly meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.

The reservoir is up!

Intersection at "G" street has been patched. Mayor Brown will contact McClure Engineering concerning costs to replace/repair inter sections at 4th, 5th, and G streets.

Bennett will contact the Historical Society board concerning the bricks falling on the museum building.

The Johnson Farm Manager Resolution was passed.

Mayor Brown has been to several meetings regarding the Water piping project and the Single Housing grant project.

A resident inquired about putting a street light in front of their residence. Council will check on this, and get back to them.

Flag poles are down on the west end of town. This matter is being taken care of.

Also, the rope is broke on the flag in the city cemetery.

Kraft made the motion to adjourn the regular meeting. Irish seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Regular meeting adjourned at 7:31 p.m.

Irish made the motion to accept the January minutes. Stiller seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Lovell made the motion to accept the treasurer's report and pay all bills. Kraft seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Answering roll call were: Todd Irish, Brian Lovell, Marcia Stiller, Michael Bennett, Darrell Kraft, Marcia Neff, Lucretia McPeak, and Mayor Kenneth Brown. Vicki Burford Was absent.

Also present were: Dan Gillett, Willo Carpenter, Daniel Carpenter, David Little, Wayne Humphrey, Justin Livingston, Kurt Dittmer, and Doug Endres.
