The first day of class was one of the scariest days of my life. Remember the first day of high school? Picture feeling like that times 20.

I was so nervous that I was going to get lost, or be late to class. I put every pen I could find, all my books, and all my notebooks in my backpack the night before. I set my alarm for 7:15 even though I don't have class until 9:00 just to be prepared.

My alarm went off and I hopped out of bed like there was a fire! I showered, found a cute outfit, made sure my hair looked good and my make-up was perfect. I put on my backpack and headed out the door by 8:25.

I met one of my new friends downstairs and we walked to our first class together.

Since my residence hall is the farthest away, I have a pretty long walk each morning.

I arrived to my speech class about 20 minutes early, just to be safe. I took my seat and waited for the class to begin. It actually was not all too scary.

My professor was very nice and I think she realized how nervous all of us freshmen were. We went over the syllabus and she explained how the class was going to go for the semester.

Once that class was over I had two more classes that day. They all were pretty much the same as the first one. The professors explained the syllabus and what we would need for the class. All in all it was a pretty good first day.

I have three classes every day. On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I have class at 9:00 a.m. On Tuesday and Thursday my classes do not start until 11:00 a.m.

It is easy to see that my very favorite days are Tuesday and Thursday!

So far my classes have been fine. It is very different from high school with all the expectations and all the homework, but I am starting to get used to it.

Sometimes I feel overwhelmed with homework and it can get pretty stressful, but I always remind myself that it is healthy stress and it will all be worth it!

Well I have to get back to studying for my Psychology exam! That class is super interesting but will probably be my toughest this semester!

Wish me luck!
