Board Votes In Pay Raises

On a motion by Tony Anderson, seconded by Michael Bohnenkamp the board voted to raise the pay of the mayor to $80 and the trustees to $65 per month. Voting was Michael Bohnenkamp-yes; Brendan Schaley-no; Amanda Kane-yes; Tony Anderson-yes; David Vancil-yes; Deb Hale-absent. The raise will not take affect until May of 2013 and will be only be for the newly elected members. The remaining trustees will still receive $50 until the next election.

The board set Wednesday, October 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. as Trick or Treat night.

The police report for the month of August included: 145 hours worked; 6 traffic stops; 3 verbal warnings; 1 written warning; 4 uniform traffic tickets; 5 service calls; 3 agency assists; 1 juvenile arrest; and 22 business courtesy checks.

The meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m. until the next regular scheduled meeting on Monday, November 5, 2012 at 7:00 p.m.
