Meet Your Neighbor

Meet You Neighbor Hannah Brueck. Hannah is recent graduate of West Central's Class of 2012.

Hannah was born in Burlington, IA, on February 3, 1994.

She lived there until the age of three when her parents decided to move to Stronghurst so her mother would have a closer commute to Western Illinois University while pursuing her Master's Degree.

Hannah's parents are Gary and Deborah Brueck.

Gary is a carpenter at Brueck Construction in Burlington, IA.

Debbie is a Guidance Counselor at Edward Stone Middle School.

She also has two brothers. Jordan, 22, is a driver for Fleck, and Logan, 20, works at Menards in Burlington, IA.

Hannah is currently employed with two jobs. She has worked at Riverland FS since the fall of 2012 and is also a lifeguard at the West Burlington, IA, Pool for her second year.

Hannah was very involved in high school. Her activities include, Student Council President, Math Team, WYSE Team, Cheerleading, Volleyball, Softball, Track, NHS, Future Business Leaders of America, and 4-H vice president.

She also was homecoming and prom queen and one of the four valedictorians!

In her free time, Hannah loves to watch movies, look around on Pinterest, read, write, and work. Most of all, she loves spending time with her friends and family!

One of Hannah's most memorable vacations was in the Summer of 2008 when her family went on a week long vacation to West Virginia, New York, and Maryland.

They also visited Washington D.C., New York City, and Niagara Falls. They even spent a day white water rafting!

Hannah's future plans include attending Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin this fall. She will be studying engineering with an Army ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corpse) Scholarship.
