LaVerne and Peggy Lovell floating in the Dead Sea in Israel with their recent copy of The Quill. They vacationed in Israel this past New Year's week starting in the southern tip at Eliat and touring all the way to Mt. Hermon in the northern parts of the Golan Heights.
They spent time in Jerusalem, Qumran, Joppa, Tel Aviv, Capernaum, Nazareth, and even spent a full day at Petra in Jordan. Both agreed it was an experience of a lifetime.
LaVerne was born and raised in La Harpe. He and Peggy make their home in Memphis, TN.
