A tree fell on the house of Dick and Shirley Anders in the wee hours of Monday morning after a storm cleared many trees from Terre Haute through Hancock County.
The La Harpe area was without power for quite some time and many businesses were closed or having to do work without the use of electric lights.
Several trees were down in the La Harpe park and it was reported that Quincy was declared in a state of disaster from the storm.i
