Meet your neighbor Shellie Blunt, a new resident of Fountain Green. Shellie was born in Rushville, but grew up in Augusta and Des Moines, IA. She has lived in Colchester and Carthage in more recent years.

Meet your neighbor Shellie Blunt, a new resident of Fountain Green. Shellie was born in Rushville, but grew up in Augusta and Des Moines, IA. She has lived in Colchester and Carthage in more recent years.
She graduated from Quincy University and Blessing Rieman College of Nursing - Magna Cum Laude in 2006.
Shellie has four children, three boys and a girl. Her oldest, Seth Flynn is engaged to Emily DeJaynes and has one daughter, Raina Flynn. Stefan is a Physics Major and plays football for Monmouth College. Sawyer is a senior at Illini West High School this year and daughter, Karly Flynn will be in 5th grade this year at La Harpe Elementary.
Shellies' fiancˇ is Tom Wear, who is an operator for UCM.
Shellie is the Director of Nursing at La Harpe Davier and has formerly worked at Memorial Hospital in Carthage.
She loves to read... anything medical or mysteries. Another of her hobbies is making floats for the residents to ride on. Shellie is licensed as a Trauma Nurse Specialist in the State of Illinois. She makes frequent donations to the American Red Cross.
One of her favorite memories is a recent moonlit canoe ride around a pond.
