Stronghurst, Oquawka Pick Trustees

The Stronghurst and Oquawka Village Board will each have new trustees after voters selected 4 new members to their board out of a possible 4, and Oquawka selected 2 new members and one incumbent after Coral Seitz and Jamie Emery chose not to run for re-election.

Chosen for the 4-year terma at Stronghurst are: Tony Anderson-155 (23.96%); Brendan Schaley- 144 (22.26%); and Debra Hale - 118 (18.24%); and for a two year term-Amanda Kane-131 (60.37%). The 4-year incumbents who were cut are: Chris Cook- 70 (10.82%), and Lawrence Neff- 95 (14.68%), and 2 year term Roger Cook-86 (39.63%).

In Oquawka, Jason Howard-137 (15.82%) will return to serve along with new trustees Jeff Tee-120 and Cory Fullerton 114 votes.
