Ross and Deloris Mesecher, Stronghurst, and Gary and Sherry Butler, rural Terre Haute, took "The Quill" along to the opening game of spring training March 4, 2010. The Cardinals and the Mets played at the stadium in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
