The La Harpe City Council met for their regular meeting Monday, July 26, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. After approval of the treasurer's report, paying of all bills, motions were made and carried to:
Waive the 2nd reading of the 2010 Garbage Ordinance, and renew Ayerco's liquor license.
Greg Butler, the city Auditor, was present to go over the cities annual audit. He commended Treasurer Neff on an excellent job keeping the city books and records. The city is doing okay.
Mayor Brown thanked the fire department, city crew, park board, and everyone who helped "dry up" the golf course, in preparation for the upcoming car show on Saturday, August 7th.
Regular meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
The next scheduled regular council meeting will be August 9, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. at La Harpe City Hall.
Aldermen present: Todd Irish, Brian Lovell, Marcia Stiller, Michael Bennett, Treasurer-Marcia Neff, City Clerk-Lucretia McPeak, and Mayor-Kenneth Brown.
(Vicki Burford and Darrell Kraft were absent.)
