Take "The Quill" Along

The Quill traveled with Joyce Hetrick of Gladstone by Amtrak to California on a ten day trip in February to San Diego to visit Joyce's brother Dr. William Kuntz and wife Roberta. They were joined by her brother Lyle Kuntz and his wife Gloria from Canyon Lake, Texas.

Besides the beauty of the Pacific ocean, palm trees, and warm weather, Joyce and the Quill visited the Mexican border at Tijuana, drove over the Coronado bridge and toured the island, and shopped down town San Diego. They went on to Los Angeles visiting Hollywood and the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Burbank, Beverly Hills, the cemetery where Marilyn Monroe, Farrah Fawcett and many famous stars are. She stood in the driveway of the late Michael Jackson, and saw many movie stars homes including the home of Cher.

The trip was fabulous, but she said it's also good to be home where The Quill is published. Her best advice is: "Enjoy each day, no matter where you are." When you go on a trip, take "The Quill" along and have your picture taken with it, then send it to us. Let's see where all "The Quill" can travel.
