The West Central National Honor Society has a community service component to their membership - giving back to the community - which sent several groups of NHS members Saturday along the county's highways to pick up trash. Alta Mae Brokaw is NHS sponsor for West Central and helps students build service, leadership, scholarship and character.
Lawrence Brokaw is helping watch out for traffic while students work along roadways.
