The Quill traveled with Mary Lee Taylor (above) and Debbie and Julianna Gillam of Media, as they traveled the Inside Passage, at the end of June, on Carnival Spirit. They had five ports of call where they enjoyed land excursions. At Juneau the land excursions took them out of the city to a summer dog sled training camp.
Last year's youngest Idiotarod Race musher was training his team at the camp. Mary, Debbie and Jules listened to information on the dogs and also on the race itself. They were then treated to a ride in a training sled and also had a chance to get up close and personal with some puppies. When you go on a trip, take "The Quill" along and have your picture taken with it, then send it to us. Let's see where all "The Quill" can travel.
