A special meeting of the Board of Education of Illini West HSD #307 was held on Wednesday, September 30.
A budget hearing was conducted. The budget presented is a balanced, though very tight, budget.
Even in these difficult economic times, the district anticipates that the funds will balance at the end of the year.
The remediation component of the Teacher Evaluation Plan was approved, resulting in final approval of the plan by the school board. In addition, a 2010 Ford Fusion was purchased from Carson Ford in Carthage for the Drivers Education program.
