IN THE PRESENCE OF JEHOVAH

Henderson County residents enjoyed an Easter Cantata by the Community Chorus conducted by Pam Moore, pastor of the Presbyterian Church of Stronghurst on Sunday, April 6th.

"In The Presence Of Jehovah" created by Sue C. Smith and Russell Mauldin, began with the choir singing a medley of "In The Presence of Jehovah" and "Can It Be".

It followed with "Jesus, the One and Only", "We Are Free", "In The Presence of Jehovah", and a moving number called "He Grew The Tree".

Then depicting his resurrection the choir sang a lively "Jesus Is Alive Medley with Christ Arose", "They Could Not", "Calvary's Love", and "Behold The Lamb Finale".

The songs underlined God's deep love for each of his children in that he would grow the tree that would be used for the cross, and give his only beloved son for the redemption of His people. The community choir will be working on another performance for later this year.
