Raritan Holds March Village Board Meeting

The president and trustees met in the meeting room of the Raritan Fire House March 13, 2008, with trustees Blender, Waller, Powless, Magee and Anders present.

Trustee Jim Blender opened the meeting with prayer.

Court dates will be after June 1st but before our June meeting for McGriff's and Wallace's properties.

It was decided to have attorney send letter to Hensley giving him 15 days to clean up his property.

The mowing for this year was tabled until the April meeting.

Larry Thompson requested permission to remove a tree west of his driveway and it was allowed.

Delinquent water bills were discussed and it was decided to shut off the delinquent water customers.

Bills approved for payment included: PDC Laboratories $14.50; Dallas Rural Water $505.31; Dennis Rankin $129.20; WM $754.80; Ron Stombaugh $270.00; Phil Anders $84.00; Carlyn Anders $110.64; Gary Powless $80.00.

The meeting adjourned until Thursday, April 10th.
