Meet Your Neighbor

Meet Your Neighbor Rose Lynch, new staff member at West Central High School who teaches science. Out of approximately 300 students she has 122 of them in her classes.

She was born in Harvey and raised in Mokena.

Rose graduated from Lincolnway Community College and Governor State University in University Park.

During her senior year of high school she was in the Rose Bowl Parade in Pasadena California, In fact, she met her fiance, at Disneyland, while the band was performing in the Disney parade.

Her fiance, Larry Gilman, is a music education major at Western Illinois University in Macomb.

Rose has two brothers, Curtis and Daniel (wife Carolyn).

Her parents are Anthony and Coleen Lynch. Her dad is employed by Cornell University at Argonne National Laboratory and her mom, Coleen, is employed by an investment firm.

In her spare time, Rose enjoys working at the library, and reading Dean Koontz books.

Rose is a member of NSTA (National Science Teachers Association).

Her hobbies are "all" the sciences. Rose looks forward to future trips to California to visit her fiance's family.
