Meet Your Neighbor Dr. Daniel Peasley. Dr. Peasley is a gastroenterologist with a private practice, since 1997, at Great River Medical Center in Burlington, Iowa.

He was born and raised in rural Stronghurst but now lives in Burlington, Iowa.

He graduated from Stronghurst High School in 1976, attended Truman State College in Kirksville, Missouri in 1981 and went on to receive his PhD at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Dan has been married to Marti, his wife of 29 years. They have two children, Kelsey (16) a student at Burlington High School and Joey (12) who attends Oak Street Middle School.

His parents are Dick and Karen Peasley who live at rural Stronghurst.

He has one sister, Cindi (husband Mike) that live in Naperville with their two children.

He has a genuine love for endoscopy and advanced endoscopy procedures attached to problem skills.

While growing up on a farm he was taught practical skills he can use day to day.

He is a very busy doctor but loves spending time with his family and especially attending his children's school activities, of which there are many.

When he has any spare time he loves going back to the farm to watch the calves being born and the crops planted and harvested.
