The Hancock-Henderson Quill, Inc.
Decorra on the line of the Santa Fe, was platted in 1888. It has never grown into much of a village and is not incorporated.
A few families reside there and there is one store. It is quite a large shipping point for stock, however, as it is situated in the midst of a number of the largest stock farms in the county. (Decorra, a group of houses, is still in existence in name; it is found in section 33 of Stronghurst Township.)
