LaHarpe City Council Sets October 14th Clean-up Day

September 12, 2005 7:00 p.m.

The Fall City-wide Clean-up date was confirmed with Jackson Disposal for Friday, October 14.

The new city police car purchased with grant money is in use.

Thanks was given to Larry Finch and his hard work with all the paperwork necessary to receive this grant.

Estimates have been received for finishing the landscaping of the welcome signs on the three edges of town.

An estimate has been given for the repairs necessary for the historical society building.

The motion was made and seconded to renew the annual liquor license for Ayerco. Motion carried.

The La Harpe City Council members answering roll call were Irish, Lovell, Helmers, Bennett, Burford, Carpenter, Neff, Stevens, and Brown. Also, present were Bill Crabill, Richard Rasmussen, Larry Finch, Tim Graves, and Roger Hughes.

Minutes of the August meeting and the treasurer's report and a motion to pay all bills were approved.
