Meet your neighbor Ronda Sams of rural Gladstone.
Ronda is a Deputy Clerk in the Henderson County Clerk and Recorder's office in Oquawka for our County Clerk Marcella Cisna.
Ronda says she enjoys working with some great people there, and she also enjoys meeting people.
"There is something new every day," she says.
Previously, she worked for U.S. Bank, as well as the Credit Union in Burlington, Iowa.
She is married to former Union school board President Doug Sams. The couple have three children, all at West Central: Jayson, Junior, Rachel, Freshman, and Jesse in 8th grade.
This summer she enjoyed coaching her daughter's softball league for 5th thru 8th grade girls and says she stays very involved with the kids' sports, speech, chorus, plays and so forth, and enjoys visiting with friends.
If Ronda was alone with nothing else to do, you would probably find her reading a good book, but for now, that's on a back burner.
