City Employee Thanked For Service; Moves To New Job In North Carolina

Rick Sturek (right), and his family are leaving LaHarpe after serving as a city employee for over ten years.

Rick has accepted a job in Charlotte North Carolina in a water plant position there. Mayor Kenny Brown, on behalf of the City of LaHarpe, presented Rick with a watch as a token of appeciation and to remember his co-workers and friends in has made in La Harpe.

"We wish Rick and his family the very best on their new adventure," Mayor Brown said.
