Make sure your family knows.... there is a new rule in the MST Fire District... Call 911.
If there is an emergency requiring police, ambulance, or fire department, be sure to call 911. This is a universal phone number for emergencies throughout the United States.
The Media-Stronghurst-Terre Haute Fire Protection District has used the phone number 924-1341 for reporting fires since 1956.
The District is now eliminating that system. The old fire reporting number of 924-1341 will no longer be used after November 30, 2005. Other Fire Districts have already switched. It is important that 911 be used in reporting emergencies.
