At 7:00 p.m., those answering roll call at the regular La Harpe City Council Meeting were Lovell, Helmers, Bennett, Burford, Carpenter, Neff, Stevens, and Brown. Irish was excused. Also, present were Tim Graves and Eric Moe.
The minutes, the treasurer's report, and the bills were approved for payment.
Jason Torrence was hired as the new city employee to replace Rick Sturek's position beginning November 1.
Ron Brewer was hired for work in front of the bank along the curb.
The motion was made and seconded to proceed with the repair work at the historical building before winter. Motion carried
The meeting adjourned at 7:25 p.m.
