Santa and Mrs. Claus came to Stronghurst Friday and brought four of their elves during the Stronghurst Holiday Open House.
Children (and adults) could have their picture taken with Santa and Santa's elves and Mrs. Claus was busy helping Santa keep track with his wish list for good girls and boys.
Twice as many attended the event this year and several commented how they enjoyed the fun and enthusiasm throughout the business district.
