Jeff Muff Joins First State Bank As Loan Officer

Jeff Muff has joined First State Bank of Western Illinois as a commercial loan officer in the Monmouth branch Jeff will be responsible for serving the lending needs of farmers and businesses throughout the Monmouth area. Mr. Muff replaces Ron Runser who returns to the Macomb branch after working out of both the Macomb and Monmouth locations since early last year.

"It did not take us long to realize there was a greater demand for our commercial loan services in the Monmouth market than one loan officer could keep up with on a part-time basis," according to Andy Bastert, Senior Vice President in charge of lending. "It's a great problem to have and with Jeff Muff, problem solved. Jeff is a great fit for us and his family will be a great addition to the Monmouth community as well."

Jeff and his wife, Cindi, currently reside in Burlington, Iowa with their two daughters, eight year old Madison and 7 year old Sarah. They plan to move to Monmouth in the near future. Jeff was raised on a farm near Dow City, Iowa and graduated with an Ag.Business degree from Iowa State University.
