Jackson Street Photography Company, formerly Lessen Photography is a new business for two members of the La Harpe community.
Melanie Sharpe-Lessen of La Harpe and her husband, Daniel Lessen originally of Hartsburg-Emden, Illinois are opening up their first studio location in Macomb, set for Saturday, November 12th.
Dan and Melanie have been photographing professionally for four years. Their specialty is wedding photography, but they also offer, family portraits, children/infant portraits, senior photos, and commercial work.
Up until securing the Macomb location, Dan and Melanie, shot portraits at their home or the homes of their clients, which they will still gladly offer, especially here in the La Harpe area.
The couple's photography business really took off in the Peoria area, where they previously lived, the majority of their business now is still in Peoria, but they look forward to serving the La Harpe and Macomb areas.
They are extremely busy getting their studio together and are bursting with anticipation and ideas for the studio. They hope that their customers will have as much fun visiting their shop as they are getting it ready for their opening.
They offer digital photography with on-line viewing, ordering, and shipping making it easy on everyone. As soon as they can get their dark room up and running, they will offer fine art prints, handmade, using the oldest of photography processes.
So if you're looking for an engagement picture to photographs of your five day old precious baby girl, they will be happy to do all they can to make the process as enjoyable and easy as possible.
