Hometown Video has a new owner. Roger Day recently purchased the video rental business from Marcia Neff.
His plans are to keep everything much the same. He offers video and DVD rentals, video games, DVD players as well as Play Station, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64 players to rent also. The store also offers gift certificates.
Roger said they have a selection of around 2300 DVD's and VHS movies both, old and new releases.
The store hours are Sunday through Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The store is located at the east edge of La Harpe at 713 East Man.
Roger and his wife, Annette, live in La Harpe.
They have two children, Brad and Shelby. Annette and Rogers' mother, Marlene, help in the store when Roger's out on the road.
Roger has owned his own truck for the past 6 years and keeps busy doing that and running his new business.
