Meet Your Neighbor Bonnie Yocum, born in Avon. Bonnie graduated from La Harpe High School, and Western Illinois University in Macomb, majoring in Physical Education. She also graduated from Carl Sandburg College, in Galesburg, majoring in Radiologic Technology.
She taught at Tremont High School in Tremont for 6 years and worked at Burlington Medical Center in Iowa for 13 years in Radiology.
Recently Bonnie has worked at La Harpe Elementary for 5 years as an aide, this year in the 7-8 resource room.
Bonnie lives in La Harpe. She enjoys being outside working with plants and flowers, the Chicago Cubs, reading, and spending time with family.
